The Siege of Cembalo was an episode in the war between the Republic of Genoa and the Principality of Theodoro, allied with the Crimean ulus of the Golden Horde. In 1434, Genoese forces under the command of fleet captain Carlo Lomellino, the “Golden Knight,” stormed the city of Cembalo, held by a garrison of the Principality of Theodoro.
